Our Mission and Vision Statements

Mission

The mission of the New Hanover County Democratic Party is to:
  • ​Promote Democratic ideals and principles.
  • Increase active participation in local, state, and national issues and elections.
  • Recruit, train, support, and elect qualified Democratic candidates for public office.
  • Develop an open and dynamic grassroots organization to carry out Democratic Party activities and 
  • Raise the funds necessary to complete these objectives.

Vision

The vision of the New Hanover County Democratic Party is to bring about positive change in our county, state, and nation by expanding opportunity for every American and by shaping a strong and vibrant community.
