If we want to flip this congressional seat and replace David Rouzer with Dr. Kimberly Hardy, it starts with people showing up, speaking out, and taking action.
Join us at the 2026 District 7 Convention, and stay afterward for our Call-to-Action session immediately following convention business.
When you sign up, check one of the boxes below your information to let us know how you’ll participate: phone banking, canvassing, or spending an hour helping with postcards.
Every person in the room helps build the momentum we need to win. Real change doesn’t happen on its own; it happens when people step forward and make it happen.

Precincts are the foundation of the New Hanover County and North Carolina Democratic Parties, playing a crucial role in driving political victories. As President Truman once said: “The most important job I ever had was Precinct Captain.”
Strong, dedicated precinct members and leaders are essential to Democratic success at every level. Each Precinct Committee consists of at least five active Democrats who elect a chair, vice chair, and secretary, forming the backbone of local organizing efforts.
Precinct Organizational Meetings will be held in geographical clusters across New Hanover County, following the NCDP Plan of Organization. All Democrats and progressive unaffiliated voters are encouraged to participate!
